Tomb of Saint George Audiobook

2026 is off to an excellent start with the long-awaited release of 'Alice Ravenwood and the Tomb of Saint George' in audiobook format. The process of producing an audiobook was untrodden ground for me but proved to be a fascinating and enjoyable journey. The excellent Bridget Thomas elevates the story and characters to another level, making it all sound quite 'proper'.

I hope you all give the audiobook a listen. At 14+ hours, it really is great value for money. As always, a review really helps too.

January 2026 Update

Happy New Year to all!

It has been quite a while since I last posted an update - 2 years perhaps? Much has occurred in that time, and many things I had planned to do did not occur. You've probably noticed a large 'Alice Ravenwood and the Lost City of Z' shaped hole, for starters. I had some personal issues to focus on in 2024/25 which took up a lot of my time and kept me away from writing. I had hoped to release Alice Ravenwood #2 by the end of 2024 -, if not early 2025 - but things just didn't pan out as I had planned. That being said, the book is finished and is currently undergoing an intense redraft. I'm hoping to release it to the world in the Spring.

I won't make the same mistake and go into detail about future projects, as you just never know what is lurking round the corner to throw a spanner in the works. Alice Ravenwood #3 is mostly plotted, but it probably won't make it to first-draft status in 2026. I have been working on a non-Alice Ravenwood project that I'm excited to properly get started on once 'Lost City of Z' is finished. The less said the better though, for fear of getting one's hopes up.
